5. Convegno SKILLS

Please find below recent information about the SKILLS conference held at the Corum International Convention Center in Montpellier, France, December 15-16, 2011.

SKILLS is an international conference addressing fundamental and translational issues related to the acquisition, storage, maintenance and transfer of human skills using multimodal technologies such as virtual and augmented realities, human-machine interfaces, interaction design, and robotic systems.

In addition to keynote lectures, regular papers and posters, a large portion of the conference will be devoted to the presentation of hands-on demos illustrating the enactive approach to skill acquisition and transfer, not limited to but including the three following domains: Sport & Entertainement, Surgery & Rehabilitation, Industry & Manufacturing.

The two keynote speakers are J.A. Scott Kelso (Florida Atlantic University, FL, USA) and Stefan Schaal (University of Southern California, CA, USA).

The conference will be held at the CORUM International Convention Center, December 15-16, 2011, in the beautiful city of Montpellier in the Languedoc-Roussillon region.

Deadline for paper submission is again next week, on June 15, 2011.
