x. * SIRI * corso nazionale robotica - ottobre 2014

Carissimi colleghi,

x. Opportunities for funding research and innovation in ICT under Horizon 2020 programme – proposers’ day in Florence

Dear expert in Information and Communication Technologies,

This email is to inform you that the European Commission is organising a
networking event in Florence, Italy, on 9th and 10th October
2014 to promote European ICT Research & Innovation, focusing on the Horizon
2020 Work Programme for 2015. Among other things the following topics will be
presented:

ICT 4: Customised and low power
computing
ICT 30: Internet of Things and Platforms for Connected Smart
Objects
FoF 8: ICT-enabled modelling, simulation, analytics and forecasting
technologies
FoF 9: ICT Innovation for Manufacturing
SMEs

The event is the best opportunity to get information about how to prepare and
submit a proposal to the Horizon 2020 programme, to put questions to European
Commission staff, to meet other potential proposers, and to present your idea
in order to find partners.
All the information can be found on
http://ec.europa.eu/digital-agenda/en/ict-proposers-day-9-10-october-2014

We strongly encourage all interested people to register on the website and to
attend the event, which is free of charge. Please consider that in Horizon
2020 the "pre-proposal check" service is no longer available, so events like
this are the only opportunity to get direct feedback on your idea from
European Commission officials.
We also encourage you to present your project idea in a very short
presentation; to do this, please register on the web site and submit your
presentation to the appropriate topic (see the links above). You will then
have 2 minutes of time during the information session to explain your idea to
the public.

In case you are interested but cannot attend this event, please bear in mind
that other information days will be held in

Brussels on Oct. 21 on Factories of the
Future, also including FoF8 and FoF 9
Brussels on Nov. 7th for ICT 30 topic
Dec. 17th for ICT 4, FOF 8 , FOF 9 and ICT 30.

More information about the latter two events will become available in due
time.
